My thoughts often wander and I find myself once again walking the streets of Moscow and waiting for a bus.  I would spend a good 3-4 hours a day on the Public Transportation System in Moscow.  For our sake I will narrate an expierence I had one late night in the city of Moscow.   Rob, Justin Belk, and I were returning to our flat for something.  Justin Belk was hungry and insisted to stop at a street vendor to get some food.  As we approached the small stand occupied by two middle aged ladies, We let the great experiement begin.  Rob went first and tried reading and sounding out the ingredients he wanted on a flat and grilled ham sandwich.  He settled on pointing and nodding.  The ladies smiled and laughed along with us as the language barrier obstructed our encounter.  Next Justin Belk tried to order and he had some peculiar request that we could not express with our little russian and hand signals.  A random man walked past, by this time it is around 1230AM, the random man was a rough looking man.  He looked like a taxi cab driver, leather coat, Armenian blood, and worn clothes.  Justin Belk turns around to ask him if he speaks English, and at this moment I sigh in frustration of bothering the man.  He mutters a few words in broken english, and Justin Belk asks him again if he speaks english.  The man says he knows some, and as the conversation progresses his English gets better and better.  He aided Justin Belk in ordering his food and turned out to be very nice.  We proceeded to walk to the bus stop and try and catch the last bus of the night heading south on Leninsky Prospekt.  I shook my head in frustration at myself at judging the man by his appearance thinking him to be a lower class man with minimal education and stuck in a dead end job driving a taxi.  This whole ordeal helped me to learn that you never know who speaks english, and not to judge a book by its cover (cliche' intended).

As the semester nears completion I had thought that by know I would of fully digested my trip to Russia, but it seems I was wrong.  Maybe Christmas break will afford me the time to be able to think without impending assignments looming in the back of my mind.  Or maybe trapping some nuisance wildlife.  Regardless, I am going to Florida to find my bluebird, solace.

I have one week left in the capital of the Federation of Russia.  I look forward to going home and to school yet at the same time I could continue living here happily and build more and more on the relationships I have developed.  This is a happy sigh...sigh.

I miss my friends from school.  I can not wait to see you once again.  I am still doing well in Moscow, I have ~3 weeks left.  Time is going by fairly quick.  I am learning a lot about myself, missions, God, Russia, people, and friendships.  For my bros that roll wit me on the 1st north I have some ideas I would like to try for things to do other than the usual.  On another note I am learning to be thankful for people's lives.

I hear stories of people dying and I walk through the streets of Moscow and see thousands of people existing. Every year I make new friends and enjoy every minute with them only  to watch them leave my life.  Then to counter act the negativity of this life I walk through a dew laden field at 5am surrounded by fog and the pink and purple rays of the early sun piercing the brisk air, or cruise down the road in my car with the wind in my face and jamming to classic rock with a close friend.  This world has its ups and downs and just leaves me tounge-tied.
